Can't You See

What's going on folks, The good folks at Fly No Fallin checking in just wanted to say WE'RE BACK!!! It's been a while since our last post (1000 apologies) but we're still here!! So, with that being said.... We're going to act like it hasn't been months since you've heard from us and keep on rolling.

We like to keep our ear to the streets of Cleveland. We support our locals and we here at Fly No Fallin try to put on as much as we can. (Sidenote: Shoutout to MGK on that Lace'd Up joint)

Let's get into it.... There is a group out here in Cleveland that goes by the name of SoundBox LLC. Cool bunch of cats heavily into the music scene. I got a chance to catch up with them recently, (as we've had the opportunity to do so in the past) and I found that they have some new music for you guys dropping this Friday. We linked up with Owner; CEO and Producer of SoundBox LLC Roosevelt Coats (twitter.com/Prodby_RoseGold) and we asked him a few questions about the new project and him as a producer. Check out what we talked about:

FlyNoFallin: What music inspired you to make the beat for (Can't You See)?
Rose: I would say our song "Clap For The Money" (Now available on iTunes) inspired me to produce "Can't You See" because I really felt it was one of the best songs in Cleveland over the summer but was constantly over looked. So I took my frustration out on the beat, what you hear is exactly how I felt at the time.

FlyNoFallin: What was the concept behind the track (Can't You See)?
Rose: The Concept behind "Can't You See" is basically us saying we feel that we are clearly better than a lot of y'all, Stop with the politics and support good music.

FlyNoFallin: What motivates you as a producer?
Rose: What motivates me as a producer is the fact that I have the ability to express myself through sound. Some of my productions have been expressed in Heartbreak, feeling like a failure, and my passion to be the best.

FlyNoFallin: When and Where can we find the new single (Can't You See)?
Rose: Can't You See will be available for Download at http://SoundCloud.com/sound-box-recordings-llc and iTunes also available on inter radio Spoitfy and iHeartRadio. For more information about C.O.N.G.L.O.M.O follow us on twitter.com/SoundBoxLLC

Well you heard it hear first. This Friday 10/19/12 be on the look out for the single #CantYouSee by C.O.N.G.L.O.M.O ft DHu

LIGHTS OUT!!

Lights Out
What's good folks, the good people at Fly No Fallin here to give you the inside scoop on some good music. We've known people to trust in our musical ear, our fashionable taste, and our wide spread knowledge of technology. So with that being said let's get into it.

We at Fly No Fallin, are big fans of local talent. From opening acts to shows in Cleveland all the way to Tuesday nights at the BSide, and there has been a stand out voice that pops up frequently. A young talented lyricist by the name of Watts. (@RappinAssWatts Follow him on twitter) We've actually known Watts for a few years now and man, if you ever need your lyrical fix, this is the guy you should listen to. With a mixtape entitled "Lights Out" dropping this upcoming Monday, Watts is looking to shake Cleveland up with crazy delivery, hard punchlines, and bars upon bars of metaphors.

I've had a chance to listen to a few tracks from the tape and WHEW, Cleveland has been blessed on this one. From the intro 'Overdue' all the way to the hit single 'Run It' every track is crazy. If I had to pick 3 tracks, even though its kinda hard to do, the tracks that happened to stand out the most were: "Bout 2 Go Crazy ft TezzoTezzo", "RappinAssWatts", and "Real Life"

Bout 2 Go Crazy ft TezzoTezzo - As soon as you see the title you already know its gonna be CRAZY! And it was in every sense. The beat came on hard and then you hear the first verse and instantly think CLUB BANGER. Shit makes you want to go out and have a blast! Like standing on couches kinda fun. Good times!!

RappinAssWatts - Bar for Bar this may be the craziest track on the tape. The beat is High Rise by Big Sean and with the nice laid back feel of the track it'll catch you off guard once you hear the metaphor in the first line. Then from there on punchlines and metaphors are sprinkled very nicely throughout the whole track. DOPE!!

Real Life - I have no idea what to say about this track, other than WHHHHHHAAA?! LOL the beat is too sick, (produced by The Maunus Brothers). The title of the track is in itself a clue to what the track is about. But to actually know this dude, this track is the truth all the way down to the T. Kudos!!

All in all, watch out for the homie Watts dropping the mixtape entitle "Lights Out" 3.12.12 and you can Catch it here at FlyNoFallin.blogspot.com
